I think the people went too far. Instead of killing the king, they should just lower the king's authority, and prove to the king that they're new constitution is more successful. I disagree with Thomas Jefferson's word. Liberty is a pure word itself, to be refreshed with blood is not necessary, things might just lose control over the dripping of blood. - Jane.K
